JOIN OUR FUN COMMUNITY PROJECT!

Goal:

To reduce plastic in our oceans—starting with plastic bags—and to protect the beauty of our shared coastal home and the health of the marine life we all love.

How It Works:

We’re launching a community project that encourages everyone to bring their own reusable bags when shopping. Each month, random shoppers in Punta Gorda stores spotted using their own bags will win cash prizes ranging from $100-$500.

Why It Matters:

Plastic bags are one of the biggest threats to our oceans and marine life. By making small changes—like bringing your own bag—you help keep our canals and harbor clean, our beaches and oceans healthy, and our wildlife safe.
